Community Resources
In addition to The Associate Clinic, the Pincher Creek area has access to a number of resources including:
- a 16-bed acute care hospital with 24 hour laboratory and X-ray service
- 24-hour emergency service, supplemented by a ground (local) and air ambulance service (out of Calgary)
- a general surgery program
- a full endoscopy program
- a 55-bed Designated Assisted Living facility for the elderly and the frail, with a new special dementia unit. The Pincher Creek Foundation also manages community housing (24 Units for Seniors, 12 Units Low-Cost Housing) and a 47-room Seniors Lodge.
